Thank you for visiting. I pray that the things you see, hear and read from this website will direct you to glorify the only true God through our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. To that end, I trust that you will find the sermons, lessons, and studies to be particularly helpful either introducing you to or strengthening you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you are visiting this site because you are looking for a local church I want to mention some things about our church. I believe that God calls His children to come together in local churches to engage in the things that He called us to do. Therefore, we want the Word of God to direct our priorities and practices. We are not at all committed to programs and techniques merely to keep us religiously busy. We are committed to and believe that the preaching of God’s Word is to be regarded as a central focus for our life together as a community of believers. It is my desire that First Baptist Church aspire to be Bible-based, God-centered, and Christ-focused in all that is done. I pray that you find that to be true of us and that it shapes how we come together as well as how we treat one another. We want Christ’s name to be made great in our church, St. Charles County, and to the ends of the earth as we equip ourselves to grow as true followers of Jesus Christ. We wish to love Christ by being like Christ.
